get rid of the fluid from the mozzarella
make small portions from the ground beef. To make 15 meatballs, I took 26g ground beef each ball.
Press the meat slightly flat, put the mozzarella on top and put the meat around the mozzarella.
roll the ball in your hands until it´s closed around the cheese on all sides.
do this with the left meat and mozzarella until you have 15 balls.
heat a pan - I used 28cm brown them quickly. Then turn down the heat and fry them until they are cooked.
Be careful when rolling the meat around the cheese. If you leave parts open, they might open up in the pan. But even if that happens: they are still delicious.
now you can prepare the toothpicks.
skewer a basil leaf and a tomatoe and later a meatball and place on a plate.
Go on until all meatballs etc. are on the skewer
