120gground almonds - you can also just use one kind to either get it smoother or more coarse

beat the egg yolks with the sugar and the vanilla sugar, then add the almonds and knead until you have a dough
Put the dough into cling wrap and leave in the fridge for around 60 minutes.
When the time is over preheat your oven to 180° celsius or 160° with air circulation oven.
carefully roll the dough until around 3mm thickness. If it´s too sticky, either place it between two layers of cling wrap or sprinkle some powdered sugar on top.
cut out forms to your liking and bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes.
For the icing mix powdered sugar with little orange juice and cinnamon (and food coloring if you like) and spread on top of the cookies.
