first peel the potatoes and cut them in thin slices, add a teaspoon of salt and set aside
preheat the oven to 200° degrees celsius
heat the milk in a pot until it cooks, lower the heat and whisk in the flour. Start with 3 spoons and add one more if needed. The sauce is supposed to be creamy but shouldn´t be too thick.
Add nutmeg, savory and season with salt and pepper to taste
butter the bottom of your baking pan thinly
Squeeze out the water from the potatoes and put on the third of the slices as the first layer into the baking pan
top with half of the green beans (leave them frozen) and half of the sauce
add another layer of potatoes and repeat the previous step, finish with the last third of the potatoes and top with the bacon
Bake for 40.50 minutes until the bacon is crispy and the potatoes are cooked.
