Zutaten

  • quinoa pudding:
  • 100 g quinoa
  • 260 ml milk skimmed
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • orange and lemon zest - optional
  • caramel:
  • 50 g sugar
  • 25 g almonds
  • 25 g pekan nuts
  • 1 tbsp. orange zest

Anleitungen

  • rinse out the quinoa with hot water to remove all the bitter compounds
  • put with all the other ingredients in a pot and bring with stirring to boil
  • Once it boils turn to lowest heat and let cook until finished with occasional stirs. Ad some milk, if necessary to get it more creamy/fluid.
  • caramel:
  • fill the sugar in a pan and melt it. As soon as it gets goldbrown, remove the pan from the heat and add the nuts and the orange zest.
  • Spread on a baking paper and let it cool down.
  • crumble and scatter over the quinoa
  • the nutrition info in the box is only for the quinoa. The caramel makes around 4 servings at 131 calories each.
