first put the rice on the stove so it can cook, while you prepare the other things
take a big pan and fry the chorizo first on high heat for around 2-3 minutes. You don´t need to add oil, because the chorizo is providing enough fat already.
Add the chicken and also cook it for another 2-3 minutes on high heat. Then turn the heat to medium and add the onion, the garlic, the paprika powder and salt and pepper to taste.
fry and stir until the chicken is cooked.
Now deglaze with a dash of white wine or broth and add the chickpeas and the grilled peppers.
Stir and fry until everything is hot on low heat.
When the rice is cooked, fill it into the pan and stir everything together. Add more paprika, salt and pepper if needed.
